#28 of 52 Undoing Self Sabotage: A Journey Towards Self-Liberation!

Welcome to the latest edition of our Frogman Mindfulness newsletter/blog! In this issue, we tackle an often-unspoken topic, but one that can have a profound impact on our lives – self-sabotage.

Self-sabotage is the act of undermining our own progress, goals, and dreams. It’s a deeply ingrained pattern, often driven by subconscious fears and negative self-belief. As peculiar as it sounds, sometimes, we become our own worst enemy. But why do we do it? And more importantly, how can we stop?

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Robb Kelly on our “Men Talking Mindfulness” podcast, where we delved deep into these questions (listen here).  Dr. Kelly is a world-renowned addiction and self-sabotage expert who has dedicated his life to helping individuals overcome these destructive patterns.

A key point Dr. Kelly shared was about mindfulness. Mindfulness, the practice of staying present and aware without judgment, can play a crucial role in undoing self-sabotage. It allows us to recognize our self-defeating patterns and then work towards altering them.

He emphasized the significance of self-awareness in overcoming self-sabotage. By being aware of our thoughts and actions, we can identify the triggers and the instances where we hinder our own progress.

We’re inspired by Dr. Kelly’s insights and are excited to delve deeper into this topic with our Frogman Mindfulness community. We encourage you to listen to this enlightening episode and join the conversation.
